Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge eulogises his “idol” Thierry Henry on Instagram

Despite struggling with injuries for much of this season, Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge is considered one of the best strikers in the league.

Widely considered the best Premier League striker ever, Arsenal legend Thierry Henry today announced his retirement from the game.

Daniel Sturridge took to Instagram to pay tribute to his “idol” and “Hero” Thierry Henry.

The Liverpool star described Henry as the “best striker along with the Brazilian Ronaldo”.

High praise indeed.
