Manchester City were rocked by another injury blow to talismanic captain Vincent Kompany who could be ruled out for another month.
Kompany had only just returned at Leicester yesterday from a hamstring lay-off and put in a powerful display before the jinx struck again.
He pulled up in agony, immediately signalling his distress to the bench where boss Manuel Pellegrini was a seriously worried man.
Pellegrini had earlier watched in horror as Edin Dzeko became his third striker to be KO'd and ordered to the treatment table.

Dzeko was ruled out in the warm up with a calf problem and Pellegrini has lingering injury worries over Sergio Aguero and Stevan Jovetic, who is also being treated for a hamstring.
He said: "It's difficult to know what happened to both of them. Vincent has the same problem as a few weeks ago. That was one of the reasons he did not play on Wednesday."
"Edin has a muscle injury in his calf so maybe both will be more than a couple of weeks. We must find a reason why. It is very unlucky to have three strikers with muscle injuries."
"It's difficult because we have to play a lot of games. We will see with Vincent but I think it will be difficult for them to both play again this year. Jovetic may be out for a few weeks."
