Max Power's stunning second-half strike earned Tranmere a hard fought 1-0 victory over Dagenham at Victoria Road.
Power had the best chance for the visitors in the first half, but he dragged wide in the 22nd minute.
Seven minutes later Jamie Cureton had an equally good opportunity for the hosts, but scuffed past the post after Damian Batt's cutback.
Marc Laird had a great chance for Rovers five minutes before the half time whistle, however Briah Saah deflected his volley over the bar.
Cureton had another decent opportunity for Daggers at the start of the second period, but he headed wide following Ashley Hemmings cross.
And with neither side looking like breaking the deadlock, Power produced a stunner to open the scoring in the 75th minute.
Kayode Odejayi laid the ball into Power and he fired a shot into the top corner past Mark Cousins to delight the travelling fans.
Daggers pushed to get back in the game, but the visitors remained solid until the end and held on for a deserved three points.
