MK Dons extended their unbeaten run in League One to 10 games as they earned a 1-1 draw away at Preston.

Scott Wiseman's superb second-half volley levelled the scores after Carl Baker had given the Dons the lead in the first half.

Kevin Davies missed a golden opportunity to give Preston the lead in the 19th minute as Jermaine Beckford put the ball on a plate for the veteran striker, but he scooped the ball over the crossbar from six yards out.

The Dons took the lead in the 39th minute as Dele Alli picked up the ball on the left edge of the area and crossed low to find Baker who knocked it in on the stretch from two yards.

Beckford almost pulled Preston level in the 57th minute as he headed Gallagher's left-wing cross against the side-netting.

Preston's second-half dominance paid off in the 68th minute as Davies knocked the ball back into the area from the byline and found right-back Wiseman, who volleyed in from eight yards.
