Joe Hart: I want to to stay at Man City for rest of my career

JOE HART wants to stay at Manchester City for the rest of his career.

The England star is on a high after helping Manuel Pellegrini's men reach the Champions League knockout stages thanks to Wednesday's impressive 2-0 win at Roma.

Hart produced a string of impressive saves in the Olympic Stadium and is in the form of his life.

Now he is set to be rewarded with a new contract worth almost £30m.

Hart is poised to put the finishing touches to a deal worth £140,000-a-week that will keep him at the Etihad Stadium until 2019.

The 27-year-old admits he has never been happier and has no intention of ever leaving the champions.

Hart said: "As far as I am aware the deal is pretty much sorted.

"I leave it to the legal side to sort, but I am very happy at this club and hopefully in the near future I will be signing that contract.

"How could I not be happy to stay? I love this place and I love everything about Manchester City.

"I have been here for a long time. I feel like it is my club now and I want to be here as long as I can."

James Milner is also set to follow in Hart's footsteps by pledging his future to the billionaires.

The England midfielder is out of contract at the end of this season but talks are ongoing and he said: "I just want to contribute as much as I can because there are a lot of games during the season.

"I'm not going to play in every one but I want to play as much as I can and help this team win trophies.

"There's talks going on so hopefully it will be sorted soon."
