Marseille - Metz preview - Bielsa adds to intrigue over future

Marseille boss Marcelo Bielsa did little to clear up uncertainty over his future with his comments ahead of Sunday's Ligue 1 home clash with Metz.
The subject has been on the agenda after OM's France striker Andre-Pierre Gignac, scorer of 11 goals this season, said when speaking about the prospect of leaving the club at the end of the campaign: "I want to know if Bielsa will stay".
The Argentinian was asked about that at his press conference to preview the Metz match.
And Bielsa, who was appointed over the summer and has led Marseille to the top of the Ligue 1 table, said: "There is a phrase from (Argentinian former coach) Jorge Valdano, which is: 'I work as if I was going to stay all my life, knowing I can go tomorrow'."
Bielsa is on a two-year contract, although it reportedly has a release clause that can be activated next summer. His team begin the weekend a point clear of second-placed Paris St Germain, who host Nantes on Saturday afternoon.
OM head into their contest against mid-table Metz on the back of Tuesday's 1-1 draw at Lorient, a game Bielsa said on Friday he had still not "digested".
The coach was left frustrated, having felt his side deserved to get what would have been a 12th victory of the season from 16 league fixtures.
Regarding the Lorient match, Bielsa added: "I do not take into account the fact of playing at home or away - I always want to win. We have to win even if we play away.
"The match against Lorient was one we deserved to win, but we did not succeed and this makes it much more difficult to correct mistakes.
"When someone deserves something but does not get it, there are fewer things to fix - there is only frustration."
