PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN are keen to sign Manchester United winger Angel Di Maria, but only if Financial Fair Play sanctions are eased.

Paris Saint-Germain to renew their interest in Angel Di Maria

PSG came close to signing the Argentine before his move £60m move to United in the summer, but were restricted by UEFA's new rules.

The Ligue 1 champions currently have a £50m ceiling for spending on new signings, but reports in France claim PSG are confident of having their sanctions eased.

And if PSG are successful, they are likely to renew their interest in the former Real Madrid forward.

Di Maria has already opened the door to a move to PSG, saying earlier this month: "PSG, they had a money problem and they couldn’t buy players.

"I know I’m still young, perhaps I’ll go to PSG one day."

The Red Devils have, however, been given a boost in their pursuit of Juventus outcast Arturo Vidal.

Today's reports in Italy have suggested Juve are open to the sale of their Chilean star, but only at the end of this current season.

Louis van Gaal has reportedly set aside £48m to land the 27-year-old in his bid to rebuild the squad at Old Trafford.

Manchester City have ruled out a potential move for Barcelona star Lionel Messi, despite rumours claiming they were prepared to meet his £200m buy out clause.

The news comes as a boost for Premier League rivals Arsenal, Chelsea and United after the Argentina skipper recently hinted he was open to a potential move.
