York City vs AFC Wimbledon preview - Jarvis back for Minstermen

Ryan Jarvis is back in contention for York's FA Cup clash with AFC Wimbledon following suspension.

Jarvis, who has missed the last three games after his straight red card in the recent home defeat to Shrewsbury, will be included in the squad, while fellow forward Wes Fletcher is hoping to feature following a hamstring strain.

Forward Diego De Girolamo has been recalled by parent club Sheffield United and on-loan Burnley goalkeeper Alex Cisak does not have permission to play so Michael Ingham is expected to return.

Veteran striker Deon Burton has been given the nod by his parent club Scunthorpe to feature in the competition.

Tom Beere has proved his fitness for the Dons after a run-out for the reserves in midweek.

The teenager has missed the last four matches with a toe injury and had to pull out of the squad prior to last weekend's defeat at Northampton, but he is set to travel to Yorkshire.

Fellow midfielder Frankie Sutherland will also be involved as he is eligible to play under the terms of his loan deal from QPR.

Boss Neal Ardley should therefore have a full-strength squad to choose from and could decide to rest striker Adebayo Akinfenwa, with the likes of Kevin Sainte-Luce and Ade Azeez pushing for starts.
