Ipswich vs Wolves preview - Five out for Town

Ipswich will have five players missing for the Sky Bet Championship clash with Wolves at Portman Road.

Defender Jonny Parr (groin) and midfielder Jonny Williams missed the 2-0 win at Blackpool on Saturday.

The success at Bloomfield Road came at a cost, though, as goalkeeper Dean Gerken damaged his groin in the warm-up and was replaced by Bartosz Bialkowski, who will continue against Wolves.

Cole Skuse had to be replaced early in the second half, also with a groin strain, and the same injury also saw midfielder Teddy Bishop withdrawn after the break.

Boss Mick McCarthy has recalled defender Elliott Hewitt from his loan spell at Colchester and he is expected to be included in the squad.

Wolves are without Nouha Dicko (hamstring) but Bakary Sako is fit to start after coming off the bench in Saturday's 0-0 draw with Birmingham.

Leon Clarke is likely to drop to the bench with Liam McAlinden set to retain his place and deputise for Dicko.

Scott Golbourne (foot) is out with a troublesome foot injury which also sidelined him at the weekend.

New signing Tomasz Kuszczak goes straight into the squad after the goalkeeper signed a short-term deal until January.
