Middlesbrough vs Norwich City preview - Adomah to boost Boro

Posted Tuesday, November 04, 2014 by PA

Middlesbrough winger Albert Adomah could return to the starting line-up in the home game against Norwich.

Adomah travelled with the squad but missed the action due to a stomach upset on Saturday as Boro won 3-0 at Rotherham. He hopes to be included in head coach Aitor Karanka's plans.

Karanks has no major new injury or suspension worries, but defenders George Friend and Ryan Fredericks are both on four yellow cards as Boro chase a fourth win in six league matches.

Defenders Jonathan Woodgate (thigh), Rhys Williams (Achilles) and Damia Abella (knee) and midfielder Muzzy Carayol (knee) remain sidelined.

Striker Cameron Jerome is fit as Norwich head to the Riverside.

Jerome sustained a cut on his knee during the first half of Friday's 2-1 win over Bolton at Carrow Road in which he scored twice to take his tally to nine for the season.

Gary O'Neil impressed on his first league start for City and will hope to keep his place while Lewis Grabban and Gary Hooper will be pushing for a starting place.

Midfielder Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe (knee), playmaker Wes Hoolahan, defender Ryan Bennett and goalkeeper Mark Bunn (all ankle) remain sidelined.
