Koln vs SC Freiburg preview - Streich rallies winless Freiburg

Freiburg will be looking to go one better than last season when they travel to Cologne with their coach Christian Streich banning all mention of the league table.
It took the Baden-Wurttemberg side 11 Bundesliga games last year to pick up their first win of the season, while Sunday's trip is their 10th outing of the current campaign, in which they have also yet to taste a league victory.
They can draw confidence from a 5-2 win over 1860 Munich in the DFB-Pokal in midweek, and Streich will be reminding his players of that result and not how thing stand in the league before they take to the field at the Mungersdorfer Stadion.
"We've got to keep the league table, our points, our opponents' points, at a distance," Streich said in Kicker magazine.
"To get back on track, all that matters is the way we are playing.
"The better that is, the more probable it is that we will get a good result. We've got to get the negative experiences out of our minds."
To start with, Wednesday's win in Munich, in which Admir Mehmedi scored a hat-trick, should be used as a benchmark.
"That was the real Freiburg," Streich said. "It was encouraging. We played football as a team."
Cologne's performance in their cup tie against third division Duisburg was less encouraging, although the result - a victory on penalties - was all that mattered in that game.
"We've got through our recent games well, but that's not to say we're now going to sit back and relax," said Cologne coach Peter Stoger.
"We've got the chance to add one to our three wins in a row and we're going to play in such a way that only the three points matter for us."
Marcel Risse will miss out for Cologne having torn his thigh muscle in training on Friday.
