Peterhead have four players suspended and four players injured for the visit of Airdrie - with a ninth man facing a fitness test.

Steven Noble, Jamie Redman and Jordan Brown were already banned for the game after being dismissed in the recent 3-0 defeat to Dunfermline and Andy Rodgers has joined them after the SFA suspended him for comments he made on social media about that match.

The Blue Toon are also without the injured Dean Cowie (knee), Bryan Gilfillan (groin), Fraser McLaren (hamstring) and Ryan McCann (ankle) while Nicky Riley an injury doubt.

Manager Jim McInally said: "We just have to get on with things and will have kids on the bench."

Airdrie boss Gary Bollan will finalise his side after fitness tests are carried out on David Proctor and Bryan Prunty.

Luca Gasporrotto is expected to be included again after international duty with Canada while striker John Boyle, who has been struggling with a knee injury, will also be involved after playing in a midweek Under-20 game.

Bollan is looking for his side to build on last Saturday's first win of the season when Brechin were seen off 4-0.

He said: "That win was a long time coming but the boys deserved it as they played well. Peterhead is a tough venue but we are going there looking to grab win number two."
