Morton vs Ayr United preview - Miller missing for Morton

Morton will look to keep their perfect home record going when Ayr United visit but manager Jim Duffy will be without Michael Miller.

Miller has a foot problem, while the Greenock boss also has injury doubts over Sean Crighton and brothers Jamie and Stefan McCluskey.

Duffy said: "Our win over Stirling last weekend was more of the solid variety than the spectacular kind. However, it gives us a chance to put two wins in a row together. Putting six points on the board in two games can change your place in the table and that has to be our aim against an Ayr side that are dangerous on the road."

Ayr look set to be without Brian Gilmour due to the leg injury he picked up in the 1-0 defeat from Dunfermline last Friday.

Everyone else in the Somerset Park squad is available to manager Mark Roberts, who said: "Brian's injury is not as bad as first feared but I do not think he will make Cappielow.

"We are going there pleased with our performance last week but disappointed with the result, especially as the goal came from our mistake. However, if we can hit the same high standards against a good Morton side that we have already beaten this season then we will be pleased."
