AC Milan star Michael Essien denies rumours he has contracted Ebola

Former Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien has been the subject of some frightening rumours today.

Rumours were spreading on Twitter that the AC Milan star had contracted the deadly Ebola disease.

The official AC Milan website released a statement denying these reports and Michael Essien took to Twitter soonafter.

Essien confirmed he is fine and reassured his followers that he’ll be in training tomorrow.

In lighter circumstances, footballer Dele Adebola also denied he had Ebola this weekend on Twitter.
