Barcelona’s Luis Suarez sends message to wife Sofia on 12 year anniversary

Luis Suarez has sent a Tweet celebrating his 12-year anniversary with wife Sofia – dating from the day he first met her, not married her.

The Barcelona man is away from his family in Saudi Arabia on international duty, so sent a tweet with a picture of the pair together, thanking her for the 12 years together.

Suarez famously decided to become a professional footballer as a means to come to Europe and marry Sofia, who he promised he would make a life for when she had to leave Uruguay with her family.
