Francesco Totti becomes oldest scorer in Champions League history with goal against Man City

Francesco Totti became the Champions League's oldest scorer at 38 years and three days old with his 23rd-minute equalizer against Man City. Roma defender Maicon conceded an early penalty to gift City with a 1-0 lead in the fourth minute, but the immortal Roma captain showed his eternal brilliance with a signature chip as City's defenders turned to vapor in his midst.
With that goal, Totti overtakes Ryan Giggs' record (37 years 290 days) for being the oldest ever scorer in the Champions League. And just to prove that he can still accomplish new things 22 years into his legendary career, Totti's goal marked his first against an English club.
You're right, @MCFC. Our Capitano has never scored in England. But there's always a first time for everything... #CityvRoma — AS Roma (@OfficialASRoma) September 30, 2014
