The striker missed Spain's 5-1 win over Macedonia with a hamstring problem but will undergo one final training session to prove his fitness
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho says there is a chance Diego Costa could be fit to face Swansea City on Saturday.
The former Atletico Madrid striker, who was voted the Barclays Premier League Player of the Month for August, was forced to miss Spain's Euro 2016 qualifier against Macedonia with a hamstring injury.
Having arrived at Stamford Bridge during the summer, the 25-year-old has found the net on four occasions in his first three Chelsea matches.
And Mourinho has revealed Costa will go through one final training session before a final decision is made on his participation against the Swans, with Loic Remy available to make his debut should he fail to prove his fitness.
He told reporters: "Diego came back injured on Saturday so he's had one week to work with the medical department. He has a chance to play."
Mourinho also confirmed that the remainder of his squad is fit to take on Garry Monk's side as the only teams in the league still with 100 percent records face off.
The former Real Madrid boss believes the signings Monk has made, including the influential Gylfi Sigurdsson, has led to their early season success.
"Swansea have a good team and they have had a good team since they got promoted. They play good football.
"Swansea bought well and invested well. They bought some quality players and they are doing very well."
