Diego Pablo Simeone will have one worry less to deal with when planning for the upcoming Madrid derby. The manager will not have to think about the man that he blamed for the defeat in Lisbon and the draw in the first-leg game of the Spanish Supercup - Ángel di María, a player he both admires and fears.

After the game at the Bernabéu last August, Simeone bumped into 'El Fideo' inside the Bernabéu. Affectionately, the Atléti manager said to him, "You b*****d, you messed up my game!
