Shrewsbury Town vs Tranmere Rovers preview - Ellis worry for Shrews

Defender Mark Ellis is a doubt for Shrewsbury's League Two clash with Tranmere on Saturday after picking up a knee injury in Tuesday's Capital One Cup win over Blackpool.
The 25-year-old, signed this summer from Crewe, managed to play for the full 90 minutes versus the Seasiders but is to have a scan on the knock after stiffening up following the game.
Young forward Jordan Clark again impressed in that victory and the 20-year-old new arrival will be looking to keep his place alongside Jim Collins up front.
"He's only a kid, one I knew from my days at Barnsley, and I always felt he had fantastic potential," said manager Micky Mellon. "He still does and he will get better and better."
Tranmere captain Marcus Holness is a doubt.
The defender pulled his hamstring in his side's season-opening draw at home to York and the weekend's match may come too soon for him.
Jake Kirby also missed the Capital One Cup clash due to a back injury and he will be assessed ahead of the game.
Liam Ridehalgh is a definite absentee after he suffered an ankle injury in pre-season and he will remain sidelined for another few weeks, while Clayton McDonald and James Rowe, who came off the bench to score in the final minute against the Minstermen, are pushing for a start.
