England squad arrive back home, no fans or fanfare to greet them at Manchester Airport

The England squad arrived back home today, with their World Cup dream cut short following their failure to qualify from the group stage.
The Thee Lions landed into Manchester Airport, and were greeted with a grey overcast day that contrasted with the sea and sun of Copacobana.
And it was a pretty bleak scene that met them, with no fans or fanfare awaiting them (unlike with Spain, for example).
Mind you, having come home at least 2 weeks earlier than expected, the players were probably happy for the peace and quiet.
