Forfar vs East Fife preview - Forfar two down in sixth Fife clash

Posted Friday, March 28, 2014 by PA

Forfar will be without Iain Campbell and Darren Dods through suspension when they meet East Fife for a sixth time this season looking for their fifth win.

Marvin Andrews (hip), Odmar Faero (knee), Jamie McCluskey (knee) and Gavin Swankie (calf) are also ruled out but Keith Gibson is set to return as the Loons look to bounce back from a 5-1 defeat from Airdrie last weekend.

Manager Dick Campbell said: "You should always be wary of a wounded animal and we were wounded last week. We did not deserve to lose 5-1 but we did so I am looking for us to make up for it in this game."

East Fife have brought in winger Bruce Inkago and the Frenchman looks set for a place on the bench.

The Fifers are still without David Cowan (hamstring), Joe Mbu (knee), Gary Fisher (elbow), Ross Brown (ankle) and Scott McBride (hip) as they look to move away from automatic relegation.

Player-manager Gary Naysmith said: "It was a terrific performance to come from behind and win at Dunfermline last weekend. We will take confidence from that into the game with Forfar.

"They have had the upper hand this season, however we won the last game and will be out to win this one."
