Stranraer 1 : 1 Stenhousemuir - Rowson snatches point

Posted Sunday, March 23, 2014 by PA

David Rowson snatched a dramatic injury-time equaliser for Stenhousemuir as they salvaged a 1-1 draw at Stranraer.

Jamie Longworth scored inside the first 10 minutes to give third-placed Stranraer the lead when he finished from six yards after being teed up by Grant Gallagher.

The home side were reduced to 10 men shortly after the start of the second half when Stephen Stirling was dismissed for a bad tackle on Ross McMillan.

In a frantic finish, Rowson found space inside the area to fire the ball home into the bottom corner for his first goal of the season which means his side are now unbeaten in nine games.
