Greenock Morton 3 : 4 Hamilton FC - Accies edge thriller

Posted Sunday, March 23, 2014 by PA

Mickael Antoine-Curier's late strike earned Hamilton a 4-3 win as they survived a scare to see off bottom side Morton.

Jason Scotland fired the visitors ahead on 13 minutes from close range before Rowan Vine levelled things up soon after.

A Louis Longridge header restored the Accies' lead 10 minutes after the restart but Morton hit back again through Marc Fitzpatrick on the hour mark.

Longridge thumped his second into the top corner before the Ton looked to have secured a vital point when Garry O'Connor prodded home six minutes from time.

But their hopes were dashed when substitute Antoine-Curier popped up on 87 minutes to move Hamilton within a point of league leaders Dundee.
