Chicharito back on track with Manchester United winner

Javier Hernandez's finishing touch has been lacking for club and country in recent months, but it returned Saturday at a most opportune time.
Hernandez scored the 80th-minute winner for Manchester United in its 3-2 comeback win over Stoke City at Old Trafford, nodding home a Patrice Evra cross at the back post. The strike, which came two minutes after Wayne Rooney equalized for United, was Chicharito's first of the Premier League campaign and just his second goal in any competition since June.
Prior to Saturday, Hernandez's only goal of the season came in United's 1-0 Capitol One Cup win over Liverpool on Sept. 25. Since bagging a brace for Mexico in a Confederations Cup win over Japan, Hernandez had failed to score in four World Cup qualifiers for El Tri, as well as three Premier League matches and two Champions League contests for United.
The tally is an encouraging sign for Mexico, which faces New Zealand on Nov. 13 and 20 in a two-leg playoff for a spot in next summer's World Cup.
