Hellas Verona coach Andrea Mandorlini is relishing the excitement passing through his team's camp but has urged his players to keep their feet firmly on the ground ahead of Sunday's game against Parma.
Mandorlini's men followed their 2-1 triiumph over Livorno with a 4-1 demolition of Bologna in the last round of fixtures.
As a result, they are fifth in the standings having taken 13 points in seven games.
Verona, who gained promotion to the top flight this summer, have lost just twice this season while they hold a perfect record at home so far.
"We are very happy with what we are doing," Mandorlini said. "But we still have a lot of points to collect in order to achieve our aim, which is to avoid the drop.
"It's difficult to slow down the euphoria and we are aware that things could turn at any time.
"Everything has gone well so far but we have to continue to work and be humble.
"The faster we achieve our aim, the better for everyone."
Rivals Parma travel to the Marc' Antonio Bentegodi stadium hoping striker Antonio Cassano can keep up his good run of form.
Cassano provided two assists and scored a goal to help Parma beat Sassuolo 3-1 last time out.
The result handed Parma their second win of the campaign and lifted the Ducale club to 10th place.
"Cassano is working well and since the start of our training camp up to now, he has lost almost eight kilograms," Parma coach Roberto Donadoni said.
"This proves the will he has to get back in contention and prove to everyone else what a champion he is.
"We hope he can continue to do well because he is a very important player for us and he has a lot of quality."
The 31-year-old Cassano, who joined Parma from Inter Milan this summer, will lead Parma's attack alongside Carvalho Amauri.
