Brechin vs Glasgow Rangers preview - Duo in for Gers test
Posted Friday, October 18, 2013 by PA
Brechin hope to add Hamilton striker Andy Ryan and Dundee United youngster Darren Petrie to their ranks on loan before their first ever league game with Rangers at Glebe Park.
Allan Walker injured a knee in training and could miss out with Derek Carcary and Stephen Robb both doubts as well.
Manager Ray McKinnon said: "There has been a real buzz about our training this week and we are looking forward to the game. When we played Rangers at Ibrox we lost a goal after a minute but we got back into things well before losing to late goals."
"Hopefully we can make a better start this time out."
Lee Wallace is a doubt for Rangers.
The full-back was forced to withdraw from the Scotland squad with a knee injury and could also miss the weekend action with the Light Blues.
Dean Shiels is out with a knee problem, while Ross Perry and Chris Hegarty (both ankle) remain on the sidelines.
