Zubizarreta: "The Villa deal was a good solution"

Taking stock of Barcelona's summer transfer dealings, Andoni Zubizarreta touted Neymar's arrival as a huge bargain. "The figure of €100 million had been bandied about by some people and we paid €57 million – that's an amazing deal", he stated.
Zubi was also asked about the move that saw David Villa leave for Atlético de Madrid for a fee of just €5.1 million over three years. "I won't go into whether it's a good or bad deal, but it was a good solution", he argued.
As for any further incomings, Zubi explained that the club won't be signing a striker, but is still working on bringing in a centre back. Seeking to assuage any concerns about the failure to sign one yet, he noted that "We have until midnight on 31st August".
