Strong 'Culé' presence at Xavi's wedding

Barcelona player Xavi Hernández and his partner, Nuria Cunillera got married this evening (Sunday), in a ceremony that took place in the Marimurtra Botanical Gardens in the Girona town of Blanes before 180 guests, which included many of the 'Azulgrana' players.

The ceremony started at around 19:30, and once concluded, the couple and entourage then went to nearby "El Convent", a spectacular XVI Century monastery, where the celebrations were held.

The vast majority of Barcelona players were present. However, Gerard Piqué and Shakira were not able to attend, and neither could Carles Puyol and his girlfriend, Vanessa Lorenzo, as they were abroad. Iker Casillas , a great friend of the midfielder, together with his partner Sara Carbonero, also couldn't make it as they were on holiday. Also absent were all managers and club presidents where Xavi has played.
