JOHAN DJOUROU and Francis Coquelin have quit Arsenal for Germany on season-long loan deals.
Switzerland defender Djourou, 26, has signed for Bundesliga side Hamburg after spending the second half of last season at Hannover.
Midfielder Coquelin, 22, will also move to Germany, with Freiburg taking the France Under-21 star.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has already allowed several players to leave the Emirates.
Andrey Arshavin and Denilson moved on at the end of their contracts and keeper Vito Mannone has been sold to Sunderland.
Auxerre forward Yaya Sanogo remains their only signing to date but Wenger hopes to seal a club-record £23million swoop for Real Madrid hitman Gonzalo Higuain.
