Milan targeting Cesc
Posted Saturday, May 04, 2013 by Marca.com
AC Milan wants Cesc Fábregas, according to the Italian sports newspaper 'Corriere dello Sport'. The 'Rossoneri' are scouring the market in search of new players to spruce up their midfield and have set their sights on the Catalan player, whose performance at Barcelona has come under criticism in recent weeks. After having shelled out €40 million for him, Barça may sell the player in order get the necessary funds together to sign Neymar.
The key to the success of negotiations between the Catalan midfielder and Milan, according to reports in Italy, could be Mathieu Flamini, Cesc's former teammate at Arsenal and now a member of the Milan ranks. The Italian club is looking for players with quality and skills in the centre of the pitch and Fàbregas is the man slated to become the new Pirlo.
