The Blancos left-back was caught without a licence when he was stopped by the Civil Guard in Madrid on February 12 and must now pay a financial penalty
Real Madrid and Brazil defender Marcelo has been fined €6,000 (£5,232) after being caught driving without a licence.
According to AS, the full-back was stopped close to the Spanish champions' training ground in Valdebebas on February 12.
The 25-year-old's previous licence was later revealed by the Civil Guard to have been revoked as he had clocked up the maximum number of points.
Marcelo becomes the second Blancos player to have been guilty of driving offences this season, with Karim Benzema also facing court on March 26 after being caught speeding.
Madrid recently secured their passage into the quarter-finals of the Champions League following their midweek victory over Manchester United and face Celta Vigo in La Liga on Sunday.
