The 42-year-old coach believes Atletico hold a 50 per cent chance of progressing to the final ahead of Wednesday's game with Sevilla, and Juanfran says tiredness is not an issue
Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone rates his team with a 50/50 chance of progressing to the final ahead of Wednesday's Copa del Rey clash with Sevilla, despite Atleti leading the tie 2-1 on aggregate.
Los Rojiblancos will go into the fixture with the narrowest of advantages courtesy of a Diego Costa double in the first leg, but Simeone believes the outcome could go either way.
"We're up against a great team. There's a 50 per cent chance for both of us. We'll approach the game as we usually do and attempt to compete as we always have," he told the club's official website.
Meanwhile, Atletico star Juanfran says the team cannot cite exhaustion in the event of elimination.
The team returned from Russia on Friday following a Europa League victory over Rubin Kazan, which was not enough to prevent them from exiting the tournament.
Since then, they have hosted Espanyol, but nevertheless, the Spain international is expecting a full-blooded effort to make the final.
Speaking to Marca, the versatile midfielder said: "The team would go all out, even if the game was tomorrow. Tiredness will not be an issue."
