Nicholas Clark hit a superb hat-trick as Queen of the South came from behind to thrash Stranraer 4-1.

Stranraer took a surprise lead after 20 minutes when Frank McKeown emphatically headed home from 12 yards after good work from Christopher Aitken.

It stung the home side into action, and they equalised 11 minutes later through Clark's close-range bullet header.

He got his second after 63 minutes, turning in Ryan McGuffie's pass from 12 yards out, and rounded off his hat-trick seven minutes later, emphatically slamming home from six yards for his 12th of the season.

Kevin Smith finished off the scoring for the runaway league leaders six minutes from time, finding space in the six-yard box to lash home.
