Hamilton eased to a comfortable 3-0 home victory against struggling Airdrie.

Marc Warren and Gregor Buchanan were both denied by Kevin Cuthbert in the opening stages as the visitors looked to end a run of five league games without a win, but they soon fell behind.

Louis Longridge forced the ball in from close range in the 15th minute for his second goal of the season, both of which have come against Airdrie.

The second came eight minutes later as Alister Crawford's free-kick was forced in from close range by Alexander Neil.

Neil came close to a second as he struck the crossbar from 20 yards in the 33rd minute.

The third came 10 minutes into the second period as Jonathan Page headed in Crawford's corner, to complete Hamilton's second home win of the campaign.
