The Blancos have been struggling to hit top form this term, but their assistant coach has insisted that the Portuguese manager always does his utmost for the club
Aitor Karanka has defended Jose Mourinho after the flamboyant coach was jeered by his own fans in Real Madrid's Copa del Rey win over Alcoyano on Tuesday.
Mourinho has seemingly lost the backing of part of the Blancos faithful following the club's relatively disappointing start to the season, but Karanka has stressed that the former Inter boss always gives his all for the club.
"The coaching staff are there to work, the boss defends the team and is a professional who gives his all for Real Madrid," Karanka was quoted as saying on the club's official website.
"We work for Real Madrid and we do our job. As the boss stated, it'll never be said that he isn't professional. But there's no pleasing everyone.
"You hear a lot of things from the bench. People come to the stadium and have a right to call things as they see them."
Madrid resume La Liga match action on Saturday when they host Atletico Madrid.
