Barcelona defender Jordi Alba has hailed his side's "important win" over Celta Vigo, which keeps them at the summit of La Liga.
The Spain full-back revealed his delight at scoring the final goal in the Blaugrana's 3-1 victory at Camp Nou, and admitted he was impressed with the attacking threat of Paco Herrera's side.
“It was an important win for us,” he told reporters after the match. “I am extremely happy with my goal.
“Celta were dangerous in the first-half, especially on the counterattack, but I think in the second-half we controlled the game a lot better.”
The former Valencia man sealed the points in the second period to ensure Tito Vilanova's side remain top of La Liga, and maintain their unbeaten domestic run this season.
