Raith Rovers vs Dumbarton preview - Clarke blow for Rovers
Posted Saturday, October 06, 2012 by PA
Raith will be without Pat Clarke when they entertain bottom side Dumbarton.
Striker Clarke misses the clash due to a calf injury.
Manager Grant Murray said: "We came within seconds of defeating Partick last week so our preparations have been exactly the same.
"We will not be under-estimating Dumbarton in any way just because they are coming here in a different position to Partick. In saying that it is a home game so we should be looking to get the three points.
"They have performed well in most of their games this season and they are not scared to attack so we have to be ready for that approach."
Dumbarton welcome back defender Andy Graham after injury as they look to get their first win of the season.
Martin McNiff is also available after shaking off the knock he picked up in last weekend's 5-0 loss to Livingston, but the Sons are again without Pat Walker and Kevin Nicol through injuries.
Manager Alan Adamson is also waiting for news on Mark Lamont and Steven McDougall, who have been suffering from a virus.
Adamson said: "Livingston were miles ahead of us and we cannot allow that to happen again. I will be making changes to try to ensure that it doesn't.
"We have been creating chances but we need to take them at a higher rate and see a game out and get that win."
