Arbroath goalkeeper Darren Hill is still out with a broken arm as they take on their managerless Angus neighbours Brechin at Gayfield.

Everyone else in the Red Lichties squad is available to manager Paul Sheerin who is telling his men to be prepared to face a side with a point to prove.

Sheerin said: "We need to be careful in this game as it often happens in football that when a manager leaves the players put in a great performance for whoever is taking them for the next game.

"We also have a point to prove as out last home game ended up in disappointing fashion against Forfar as we played against nine men for half an hour and could not force a winning goal."

Brechin will have caretaker manager Andy Millen in charge following Jim Weir's departure last weekend.

The Glebe Park coach has ruled out the injured trio of Gerry McLauchlan, Craig Molloy and Ryan Stewart but his ranks could be bolstered by the return of Derek Carcary and Ewan Moyes.

Millen said: "Everyone at the club knows that we have not been producing the performances that we should have been. Arbroath are a good side so this will be a hard game to turn things around in but that has to be our aim.

"The players should be thinking that their new manager is in the crowd watching and that they should be trying to impress them."
