Real Madrid vs Granada CF preview - Higuain targets first league win

Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain wants to harness the euphoria generated by this week's Super Cup success over arch-rivals Barcelona and use it as a launchpad for league success, starting at home to Granada on Sunday.
Real were crowned Super Cup champions after their pulsating 2-1 win over their arch rivals in Wednesday night's second leg at the Bernabeu, with Higuain opening the scoring in the second-leg tie.
The Argentinean forward was satisfied with the win but knows the Primera Division is the real focus for Jose Mourinho's side, who have taken one point from two games so far.
Higuain said: "These matches are always very close and we are happy because we won. What is a shame is that we were not able to score more goals. I scored, but they have a great goalkeeper who made some good saves. Luckily I have scored in every match that I've played in, but that is thanks to my team-mates.
"Now we have Granada's visit and we want to beat them as well. It is true that the most important thing was to win [against Barcelona] and we did that. Now we must continue along the same path and win on Sunday because the league has just started.
"The fans deserved a match like that. On Sunday we cannot slip up we have to do things as well as we can to get the win."
Granada midfielder Fran Rico expects one of the toughest challenges of his career against Real.
"It's hard, we know it's very complicated," Rico told the club's official website.
"We are talking about the best, or one of the top two, teams in the world. It will be difficult but we hope to be able to get something.
"I think we have to have more bite up front. I think our strikers are very good and will surely lead the team goal more goals than last year."
