Torino 3 : 0 Pescara - Pescara picked off by grand Torino

Torino picked up their first win of the Serie A season with a 3-0 victory against 10-man Pescara at the Stadio Olimpico.
Alessandro Sgrigna put the Granata in front in the 34th minute, seven minutes after Christian Terlizzi was given his marching orders.
Matteo Brighi then added a second before Torino captain Rolando Bianchi wrapped up victory having missed a penalty in the first half.
Torino coach Giampiero Ventura stuck to his guns, despite a goalless draw against Siena a week ago, fielding an attack-minded 4-2-4 formation and this time he was rewarded for the bold approach.
It was not long before the home side were outnumbering their opponents on the attack and the only way Terlizzi could find to stop Bianchi in the 27th minute was to foul him inside the penalty area, earning a red card in the process.
There was no double punishment, though, as Mattia Perin denied Bianchi from the spot, diving to his right to make the save.
Torino took the lead seven minutes later, though, with Bianchi heading the ball to Sgrigna, who hit a powerful right-footed shot that left Perin little chance of repeating his earlier heroics.
Perin kept Pescara in the game early in the second half when he denied Sgrigna in a one-on-one situation, but he was again powerless when Torino broke in the 59th minute with Sgrigna setting up Brighi to make it two.
Bianchi, who also had a hand in Torino's second goal, finally put his own name on the scoresheet in the 62nd minute, beating Perin with a determined header.
Torino had chances to add to their lead as Pescara lost all belief, and their second Serie A game in a row by the same scoreline of 3-0.
