Goals either side of half-time saw Cowdenbeath run out 3-0 victors against 10-men Airdrie United.
Kyle Miller broke the deadlock for Cowden and he was joined on the score sheet by Lewis Coult and Marc McKenzie after United had seen Marc Warren sent off.
Miller slotted home Scott Linton's cross after only four minutes to give the visitors an early lead. Coult then saw his attempt to double The Blue Brazil's advantage blocked before it could trouble United keeper Kenny Arthur.
Cowdenbeath were awarded a penalty midway through the first half but again the away side failed to make their dominance count with McKenzie's spot-kick saved by Arthur.
Airdrie's problems were compounded after the restart when Warren was sent off for violent conduct, with Coult and McKenzie both scoring from close range late on to make sure of the points.
