Brechin City vs Albion Rovers FC preview - Weir starts season with thin squad

Brechin boss Jim Weir is struggling to fill his substitutes' bench for the visit of Albion.
Weir has ruled out Alan Trouten, Derek Carcary and Ryan Stewart for the clash due to injury.
Weir said: "We are running with only a small squad and having three players out at the one time hits us hard.
"We are really keen to get our season off to a flying start with a win but we are down to the bare bones player-wise. I am trying to get some loan players in to help out but without any joy so far.
"Albion Rovers were really tough opponents last season, in fact we had to score two injury-time winners against them to win games, and I am expecting a tough game again."
Albion start their first league season under the guidance of recently-appointed manager Todd Lumsden.
New signings David Crawford and Kieran Brannan are included in the travelling party but midfielder Tony Stevenson is suspended.
Lumsden has promised an attacking approach at Glebe Park.
He said: "I do not see the point in sitting in and trying to sneak a point so we will give it a go.
"Brechin played very well against Rangers a fortnight ago and they will be looking to bounce back after losing 4-0 to Stenhousemuir just last weekend, so it will be a tough game.
"It would be great to get our season off to a win after a lot of change at our club over the summer at both a management and playing level."
