Fabio Capello: FA p****d me off

FABIO CAPELLO accused the FA of breaking his contract by stripping John Terry of the England captaincy.
The Italian admitted yesterday his old bosses left him feeling “p***** off” as he was unveiled as Russia’s new coach on a two-year deal.
Capello quit the Three Lions in February after JT lost the armband as he faced a court case over claims he racially abused QPR’s Anton Ferdinand.
Capello said: “It was put on paper that the decision on the captain should be taken by the coach.”
The FA last night responded to Capello’s comment and insisted they had the authority to remove Terry as captain.
A spokesman said: “When discussions were being made the FA had confirmation from Capello’s representatives that the FA did have the authority on such matters.”
Capello, 66, considered the interference unbearable and claimed he had no option other than to walk out on the Three Lions.
He added: “I worked for four years in England and after what happened, I was p***** off and I had to stop.”
Capello, whose new deal is worth £7.8million a year, refused to go further in depth about England due to the terms of his severence with the FA.
