Everton and West Ham given new hope in chase for Inter striker

Everton and West Ham have been given hope they could resurrect the deal to sign Inter striker Luc Castaignos after Twente revealed they have not completed their move for the youngster.
Castaignos was linked with the Premier League sides after Inter revealed they were willing to allow the 19-year-old to leave, but Twente jumped to the front of the queue for the former Feyenoord star after they sold Luuk de Jong to Borussia Monchengladbach.
It was thought that a deal was almost done, but Twente chairman Joop Munsterman has claimed that is not the case - giving renewed hope to David Moyes and Sam Allardyce.
"There's still a pretty big gap between what we want to pay and what they're asking. We'll have to think long and hard about it," Munsterman told De Telegraaf.
"I won't be rushed into making a decision. That will only cost the club a lot of money. This transfer could take a while, because Inter are clearly not in a rush either.
"This kind of thing always takes a while. We were also locked in talks [with Gladbach] over Luuk de Jong for up to three weeks."
