AC Milan could offer unsettled Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov a way out of Old Trafford, according to the player’s agent.
The Bulgarian, who scored nine goals in 21 outings last season, is expected to leave Old Trafford this summer after admitting he is unlikely to figure much in Sir Alex Ferguson’s plans next season.
The 31-year-old is reportedly available for a fee of £5m, and his representative Emil Dantchev believes the forward is heading for Serie A - with the San Siro his preferred destination.
"He may leave Manchester United at any time," he said. "His most likely destination is Italy, he’s always loved Italian football.
"I know that Milan and Juventus are looking for a striker. I can say that they are two big clubs.
"I cannot say much but I do say that Berbatov likes Milan and looks good in red and black."
