AC Milan have accepted Paris Saint-Germain's €65 million (£51.3m) offer for Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to Sky Sport Italia.
With an agreement over a transfer fee seemingly struck, the players in question will now have to decide whether or not to make the move to Parc des Princes in the coming days.
The French capital club had a €46m (£36.3m) proposal for the Brazilian defender rejected last month as Rossoneri president Silvio Berlusconi rejected the transfer himself at the last minute.
However, fresh reports in Italy claim that PSG have not yet given up on landing on Thiago Silva and have made their intentions clear with a double bid for the Brazilian and team-mate Ibrahimovic.
The move comes just 24 hours after Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani admitted that the duo could still be sold before the end of the summer transfer window.
Following a meeting with Galliani at the club's headquarters earlier on Wednesday, Fifa agent Mino Raiola has reportedly flown into Sweden to convince the striker into accepting the transfer to France.
Earlier in the summer, Ibrahimovic publicly spoke of his disdain at Milan's financial problems after a season in which the team lost their Serie A crown to Juventus.
His future at San Siro has been a hot topic of debate ever since, with the San Siro giants receptive to the idea of parting company with the former Barcelona striker if a big-money offer arrived.
