Becks in GB pride
OLYMPIC DREAM ... David Beckham

DAVID BECKHAM has re-stated his case for the Olympics, insisting: No one would be prouder than me.

The LA Galaxy ace — who earned the MLS Goal of the Week award for his 25-yard strike against Portland last Sunday — is back in form after an injury-hit start to the season in the States.

And he has his sights set on a final international hurrah in this summer’s London Games.

Becks, 37 next month, said: “Representing my country has always been the proudest thing for me. I’d do literally anything to play for my country.

“It would mean a huge amount to me to play in the Olympics. It would be amazing.”
