Gourcuff not thinking about making France squad for Euro 2012
Olympique Lyonnais midfielder Yoann Gourcuff is not worried about whether he will be called up by France coach Laurent Blanc for Euro 2012.
The 25-year-old came on as a substitute in the club's 3-0 defeat to Toulouse on Wednesday in what was his first appearance in two months.
Gourcuff was pleased to have returned to match action, but is not yet thinking about his chances of making France's squad for the upcoming tournament in Poland and Ukraine.
"Euro 2012? Right now what I want is to play again," he told reporters.
"I want to be happy on the field again. It was great to step onto the pitch once more, but I would have preferred if it had come with a victory and a good performance."
Lyon are fourth in the Ligue 1 table, 13 points adrift of leaders Montpellier.
