Queen of South 0 : 0 Falkirk - Stalemate frustrates Falkirk

Dale Fulton missed a late opportunity as Falkirk could only draw 0-0 at bottom club Queen of the South.
The strugglers frustrated their hosts, who boast the league's top scorer in Farid El Alagui, in the first half but Falkirk should have gone in front after 26 minutes when Fulton could only shoot weakly at Lee Robinson.
The away side threatened first after the break and Daniel Carmichael almost put them in front on the hour mark, but his long-range effort forced a finger-tip stop from Michael McGovern, who also saved well from Scott McLaughlin minutes later.
Falkirk finished strongly and, with four minutes left, Thomas Scobbie set up Fulton who fired wide with the goal at his mercy.
