POINTING THE FINGER ... Nico Gaitan
BENFICA winger Nico Gaitan claims Didier Drogba and Fernando Torres' goal struggles have turned Chelsea into nervous wrecks.
Gaitan's team take on the Blues at the Stadium of Light in Lisbon tomorrow night.
He believes this is the perfect time to face them after Chelsea drew a blank against top-four rivals Tottenham.
And Gaitan is confident Benfica will claim their second English scalp of this season's Champions League after helping to dump out Manchester United at the group stage.
The Argentina star said: "I think there is an anxiety in Chelsea by the lack of goals from Torres and Drogba.
"We can exploit that and even though it will be difficult to stop them, it is possible and I have confidence we will keep a clean sheet."
Drogba has found the back of the net just three times for Chelsea since the start of the year. Torres' two goals against Leicester in the FA Cup last week were his first since October.
Gaitan added: "Benfica are having a good season in Europe. This is our main strength against Chelsea.
"The squad is convinced we can create chances and we play without fear against anyone."
Like Chelsea, Benfica warmed up for the Stadium of Light clash against the Blues with a goalless draw.
They drew a blank against Olhanense, which knocked them off the top of the Portuguese league.
Luck But Gaitan insisted: "Both teams failed to score this weekend in the domestic leagues but that is just luck.
"It wasn't the Champions League game which caused the 0-0 scores.
"We are very focused in this knockout game because, for us, those are the matches of the year.
"To get into the semi-finals is to fulfil the first part of our European dream.
"The tie is very open and without a clear favourite.
"Chelsea are, of course, strong in Europe but we are not inferior to them."
